·       Day1 - Identification of constellations and asterisms, Star Tales, and Zodiac 

·       Day2 - Naked eye Observations-  Phases of Moon, Planets,  Meteorites, and Meteorite showers 

·       Day3 - Introduction to the celestial sphere, Right Ascension, Declination, Altitude and Latitude

·       Day4 - Celestial phenomena   - Eclipses, Occultations, Conjunctions, transits, etc  

·       Lectures are conducted by experienced professionals of the Institute of Astronomy Sri Lanka, trained under Homi Bhabha centre for science education India

·       A valuable Certificate will be issued at the completion of the short course and the certificate will be emailed within a week.
