Personal attention is given to each student aiming at the development of scientific thinking, problem solving and critical thinking and improvement in observational skills, strategies and analysis.

Flexible time slots, paper discussions, practicals onsite, syllabus completion and past paper and model paper discussions. 

All practicals to obtain observational skills will be covered by the trained staff of City Observatory, Colombo affiliated to the Institute of Astronomy Sri Lanka (IOAS).

Facilities included :

• A/C rooms
• Moon, planetary and DSO Observations through 14-inch Ritchey–Chrétien telescope with iOptron CEM120 Center-Balanced Equatorial GoTo Mount fully computerized telescope, Skywatcher astromaster 8 inches fully computerized telescope,  NexStar 8SE Computerized Telescope and other Dobsonian telescopes, refractors and reflectors.
• Solar observation through Coronado SolarMax II 60mm H Alpha solar telescope with iOptron CEM25-NUC Equatorial Mount and 8” Schmidt–Cassegrain telescope equipped with an 8” white light solar filter.

         (Lyceum syllabus structure will be covered)
